The Regional body, Insurance Association of the Caribbean, was established in October 1974, in Kingston, Jamaica and Incorporated in August 1990 in Bridgetown, Barbados.
The founding Members totaling forty-four (44), comprised insurance companies consultants and brokers from six (6) countries in the region.
